Users can switch from a fully-open to 100 Percent-locked axle at the touch of a button. Several designs of ELocker differentials are in production, with the 4-pinion ELocker 4 models providing industry leading torque capacity for highly demanding applications. Users operate the ELocker with the flip of a dash switch. When in the “off” position the unit operates as a fully-open differential. If activated to the "on" position, an electronically-controlled mechanism locks the internal differential gear set to the differential case providing 100 Percent axle lock. The Eaton ELocker is designed for a variety of uses. Towing, off-road, rock crawling, and high-performance vehicles all benefit by installing an ELocker. Its smooth engagement and validated strength make it an ideal solution to improve traction and maneuverability. Units are available for front and rear-axle installation.
